Irish/Scottish five piece indie rock band Snow Patrol formed in 1994. They released three records on indie labels before finding commercial success with their 2003 major label debut, Final Straw, which sold over 3 million copies. They gained even greater success with their 2006 album, Eyes Open, which included their hit single "Chasing Cars." Their new album, Fallen Empires, comes out January 10th, 2012.
