A native of the Pacific Northwest, R&B singer Curtis Salgado has been working as a professional musician since the late 60s. After playing in the Robert Cray Band and fronting the group The Nighthawks he embarked on a solo career. Since 1991 he has released eight solo albums. In 2010 he won the Blues Music Award for Soul Blues Artist Of The Year.
